The Dakar Call to Action

The Dakar Call to Action was adopted at the West and Central Africa High-Level Meeting which was held in Dakar, Senegal, from 23-25 October 2017.

It calls on governments to develop and strengthen responses to child marriage, including through national strategies and costed action plans, to implement legal reform, allocate resources, collect and manage data, and work with young people, religious leaders, civil society and other actors.
