This report explores forced marriage within the context of conflicts, drawing on the experiences of women and girls forcibly married within the Lord's Resistance Army in Uganda.

The report proposes that forced marriage is the result of a series of constituent acts that collectively constitute a crime against humanity and must be a codified crime in international law.
