Surprising trends in child marriage in Ethiopia

Progress towards eliminating child marriage in Ethiopia appears to be accelerating. In this analysis ODI and UNICEF look at national census data and undertake in depth interviews with girls, their families and communities to explore the experience and patterns of child marriage across different regions. They uncover some surprising findings and use this information to highlight priority actions for future programming.
