Teenage, married, and out of school: Effects of child marriage and childbirth on school dropout

This paper tackles the causality between early marriage and school dropout. It looks at the effect of marital status on participation in school and how household wealth, age and locality (rural/urban) affect school attendance for married girls. Finally, it examines the comparative effects of childbirth on girls' school paticipation versus marriage.
