The contribution of laws to change the practice of child marriage in Africa

This study examines child marriage laws in ten countries in Africa: The Central African Republic, Rwanda, Kenya, Ethiopia, Malawi, Namibia, Egypt, Algeria, Ghana, Niger. It discusses the impact they have on the practice, and the unintended consequences of criminalisation.
